Terms of Use
Last updated: June 14, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the 22 Robotics website and services operated by Trissino Inc.(“22 Robotics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing our website, submitting a form, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or services.
2. Description of service
22 Robotics captures egocentric, contact-rich robotic manipulation video data and delivers and sells it to humanoid robotics teams. Our website lets robotics teams request datasets and lets contributors (“capturers”) apply to record and submit data. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Submit content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes another person’s privacy or intellectual property.
- Record individuals or private spaces without the consents and permissions required by law.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to our systems.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
4. Intellectual property
The website, its content, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Trissino Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the site for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without permission.
5. User submissions
When you submit data—including captured video—you represent that you have all rights and consents necessary to provide it and to allow us to use, edit, deliver, and sell it as described in our Privacy Policy. You grant Trissino Inc. a worldwide, transferable, sublicensable license to use, process, and commercialize submitted data for those purposes. We may remove or decline any submission at our discretion.
Commercialization for AI and robotics training. You understand and expressly agree that data you submit—particularly as a capturer—is collected for commercial purposes and will be sold, licensed, or otherwise transferred to third parties, including technology companies, robotics developers, and AI labs, for the purpose of training commercial robotics and artificial intelligence models. You acknowledge that these third parties may use your submitted data to build, train, and commercialize their own products and models, and you consent to such use.
Compensation and waiver of claims. Any compensation for submitted data is payable solely if and when your submission meets our quality and acceptance (inspection) standards, in our reasonable discretion; submissions that do not meet those standards may be rejected without payment. In consideration of the compensation paid to you—or, where no monetary compensation applies, the opportunity to use our services—you agree, to the fullest extent permitted by law, not to assert against Trissino Inc., its sublicensees, or its purchasers any claim of ownership, royalty, or other right in the submitted data, and you irrevocably waive any moral rights (and agree not to assert any such rights) in the submitted data.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trissino Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.
Capture activities are undertaken at your own risk. If you record or submit data as a capturer, you do so entirely at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trissino Inc. is not responsible and assumes no liability for, and will not compensate you for, any loss, damage, or harm arising out of or in connection with your capture activities, including: (a) damage to or failure of your own hardware or equipment (such as smartphones, cameras, or sensors); (b) damage to your home, property, or belongings; and (c) any bodily injury, accident, or other physical or personal harm to you or any third party. You are solely responsible for conducting capture activities safely and in compliance with applicable law.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute arising from these Terms.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
