LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and the video data collected through 22 Robotics. We rely on your explicit, opt-in consent: we ask you to actively agree to the practices described here at the point you submit a form or upload data, rather than treating mere browsing of our website as agreement. You may withdraw your consent at any time as described below.
1. Who we are
22 Robotics is a product and brand operated by Trissino Inc.(“22 Robotics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We capture egocentric, contact-rich robotic manipulation video data and deliver and sell it to humanoid robotics teams. We are the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
For any privacy, legal, or data request, contact us at taka@trissinoai.com.
2. Information we collect
Information buyers (robotics teams) submit. When you request data through our buyer form, we collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Company
- Role or title
- Task or manipulation description
- Estimated data volume
Information capturers (contributors) submit. When you apply to capture data, we collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Location (country / city)
- Whether you own a smartphone
Captured video and manipulation data. Capturers submit egocentric, contact-rich video that may contain faces, hands, homes, household objects, and bystanders, along with associated motion and sensor data and metadata (for example, timestamps and device information). Because this footage may incidentally capture the faces of capturers or bystanders, we treat it as sensitive and apply the anonymization safeguards described in Section 3 before any dataset leaves our control.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers automatically collect IP address, device and browser information, approximate location, pages viewed, referring URLs, and similar data through cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use information
- To respond to buyer requests and provide data samples.
- To onboard, communicate with, and pay capturers.
- To process, edit, label, and prepare captured video into training-ready datasets.
- To anonymize captured video before it is shared, delivered, or sold. Before any dataset is provided to a third party, we apply automated techniques (and manual review where appropriate) to detect and blur or otherwise obscure faces and other personally identifiable objects (such as license plates, screens, and identifying documents) belonging to capturers and bystanders, so that delivered data is de-identified.
- To deliver and sell anonymized datasets to robotics teams.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website and services, and to measure and promote our work.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. How we share and sell information
Capturer-submitted video data is delivered and sold to third-party humanoid robotics teams. This is the core of our business: video and manipulation data you submit as a capturer may be licensed, delivered, or sold to robotics companies who use it to train robots. As described in Section 3, this data is anonymized—with faces and other personally identifiable objects blurred or obscured—before it is delivered or sold.
Lead and contact data may be shared with service providers who help us operate—such as hosting, communication, analytics, payment, and customer-management vendors—who process it on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
We may also disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
5. Third-party advertising and analytics
Our website uses Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel for advertising, remarketing, and measurement. These third parties set their own cookies and may collect information about your visits to this and other websites to serve and measure ads.
You can opt out of interest-based advertising here:
You can also manage analytics and advertising cookies at any time through our cookie banner and Cookie Policy. These scripts do not load until you grant consent.
6. Data retention and deletion
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy—to maintain buyer and capturer relationships, fulfill contracts, and meet legal, accounting, and security obligations.
When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. To request deletion, email taka@trissinoai.com.
Deletion of data already delivered or sold. When you ask us to delete your data, we will not only remove it from our own systems—we will also send a written request to the robotics development teams to whom that data was delivered or sold, asking them to delete or fully de-identify the relevant data in line with our agreements with them. While we cannot unilaterally control a third party’s systems, our contracts require recipients to honor such deletion and de-identification requests, and we will use reasonable efforts to ensure they do so.
7. Your rights (EU / UK — GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request rectification of inaccurate data.
- Request erasure of your data.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Data portability.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
Our lawful bases for processing include your consent, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business, and compliance with legal obligations. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact taka@trissinoai.com.
8. Your rights (California — CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access and delete it, to correct inaccurate information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising your rights.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Because we share lead data with service providers and run advertising pixels, and because we sell captured datasets, some of these activities may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under California law. You have the right to opt out. To opt out, email taka@trissinoai.comwith the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share,” and use our cookie banner to reject non-essential cookies and the advertising opt-out links in Section 5.
9. Your rights (India — DPDP Act)
If you are a capturer or user in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act gives you the right to:
- Receive notice about how your personal data and submitted video are processed.
- Give and withdraw consent for processing.
- Access a summary of the personal data we process.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of your personal data.
To exercise these rights, contact taka@trissinoai.com. If you request erasure of data that has already been delivered or sold to robotics teams, we will, as described in Section 6, delete it from our own systems and notify the recipient teams with a request to delete or fully de-identify the relevant data.
10. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality, analytics, and advertising. For details on each category, its purpose, and duration, see our Cookie Policy. You can manage your preferences through the cookie banner at any time.
